Srinagar Administration Sets Up 24x7 Control Room for Religious Events -

Srinagar, 25 March: In preparation for the upcoming religious events, including Shab-i-Qadar, Jumat-ul-Vida, Navratra, and Eid-ul-Fitr, the District Magistrate Srinagar has ordered the establishment of a Joint Control Room (JCR) at the DC Office Srinagar. This control room will function round-the-clock (24×7) from March 24, 2025, onwards to ensure smooth observance of religious events and uninterrupted access to essential services for the public.

According to the order in possession with Asia Speaks reads, the control room will operate under the supervision of Aijaz Ahmad Shah (JKAS), Assistant Commissioner Revenue Srinagar. The control room team comprises the following officials:
