Srinagar 14 Aug: A mega camp was organised at E coy 93 BN BSF U/C Adhoc K-10 Old secretariat Srinagar collaboratively by staff of AYUSH Unit SMHS, AHWC RSGC, and AHWC novpora marking the 15th day of various events going on in series at various levels and various platforms to solemnize the Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav as a celebration across the nation of 77th Independence Day.
The camp was arranged in a very aesthetic manner, patient hearing to all beneficiaries was done with proper treatment and counseling.
Under the caption 75-Health and wellness events, the DAO Srinagar, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir directed this mega camp, focussing on 4 main components namely
1 Yoga sessions
2.NCD screening, Prevention and treatment
3 Home Remedies promotion in public
4 Medical camp to promote Har Ghar AYUSH promoting traditional Health practices of AYUSH
5.Millets and its uses
In addition to the 134 jawaans from the battalion, the general public figuring to 288 also participated this mega camp.
This event, organized under the guidance of the DISTRICT AYUSH OFFICER OFFICER SRINAGAR focused on promotion and propagation of Ayush systems of medicine and educating attendees about the significance of home remedies. Patients who participated in the camp were provided with medicines pertaining to their ailments Additionally, they received counseling on lifestyle modifications to attain a healthier life through Ayush interventions. The camp also featured a comprehensive lecture on the effective usage of home remedies and Millets. Total no. Of beneficiaries of the camp was 422. Sh.Sanjay Arora Commandant Adhoc K-10 and Sh.Rajesh Kumar Morya Assistant Commandant ‘E’ Coy 93 Bn BSF and other senior officers of the command also showed their keen participation in the camp and appreciated the efforts of the authorities and their team for this endeavor.
The organizing committee and public in general applauded the role of staff deputed. Such camps were being demanded by the public on regular basis.
Patients for further treatment were being send for referrals to the adjoining AYUSH HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTERS.
