Srinagar, October 27, 2025: A Mega AYUSH Health Camp was organized today at Al-Noor Marriage Hall, Danamazar, Safakadal (Eidgah) with significant public participation and notable success. The camp provided free medical consultation, diagnosis, and awareness regarding preventive healthcare to hundreds of residents. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble MLA Eidgah, Haji Mubarak Gul , who attended as the Chief Guest, alongside District AYUSH Officer Srinagar, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Payer Sahib.
In his address,Gul commended the Department of AYUSH for its dedicated efforts in extending healthcare services to the community and for promoting traditional systems of medicine as a means of holistic well-being.

“The AYUSH system plays an important role in preventive and integrated healthcare delivery. Such outreach initiatives are instrumental in ensuring that medical services reach every section of society,” said Mubarak Gul.
“As a public representative I remain committed to supporting all initiatives aimed at improving the health, welfare, and quality of life of the people,” he added.
The success of the camp was attributed to the coordinated efforts of the AYUSH medical and paramedical teams, including Dr. Qurat-ul-Ain, Dr. Ayoub Sofi, Dr. Mushtaq Mohammad, Dr. Zilhuma, Dr. Rubeena, Pharmacist Insha, and Yoga Instructors Mohammad Younis, Saima Manan, and Sukhbeer Singh.
NCD screening services were also provided by Mr. Showkat Ahmad and Ms. Bazila from Accuprobe Diagnostics Lab.

DAO Srinagar, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Payer, expressed appreciation to all AYUSH medical and paramedical staff, as well as the Accuprobe Diagnostics team, for their active involvement and professional dedication.
Local residents thanked the AYUSH Department and MLA Eidgah, Haji Mubarak Gul Sahib, for facilitating such community health initiatives and requested that similar camps be organized in the future.
