Bangkok, : A strong 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit central Myanmar on March 28, Friday. The tremor has turned a major hospital in Myanmar’s capital city Naypyitaw into a ‘mass casualty area’.

Thai Defence Minister said 90 people are missing and 20 have dead at site where high-rise under construction collapsed in the quake, .

Earlier reports by the newspaper indicated that 13 people were killed in the disaster and at least 200 others were injured.

A 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar on Friday, with tremors felt in five neighboring countries, including Thailand.
