Srinagar, Sept 4 Mirwaiz Umar Farooq delivers Friday sermon today after four weeks.
Earlier the Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid has announced that the restrictions on Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Umar Farooq, which had been in place since September 2, have been lifted.
The authorities conveyed this decision today, allowing the Mirwaiz to resume his religious duties, they said.
He had also knocked door of High Court regarding his “house arrest”. (KNS).
