BJP fully prepared to contest Assembly election in J&K : Ashok Koul

Srinagar, Aug 17 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary (Organisation), Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Ashok Koul on Saturday said the party is fully prepared to contest the upcoming Assembly election which will be held in three phases from September 18.

He exuded confidence that the BJP will form the next government in the nion territory.

Kaul was speaking to party leaders during a meeting which was called to strategize for the Assembly election.

A party spokesman said the meeting was presided over by Ashok Koul.

The meeting was attended by key members of the BJP’s core group for the Assembly election 2024 and election manifesto Committee and other senior leaders of the party.

“This assembly election was significant in its purpose to invigorate the party’s grassroots-level operations,” the spokesman said.

Koul emphasized the paramount importance of party leaders intensifying their outreach efforts and motivating the party’s dedicated cadre.

“This strategic engagement is critical to strengthening the BJP’s position and realizing its vision as it faces the challenges of the upcoming electoral battle,” he said.

While addressing the workers, the BJP leader stated that the party fully prepared to contest the election in Jammu and Kashmir.

‘We will form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir,’ he affirmed, adding that the people of J&K are fully satisfied with the work and vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
