IFK Hosts Inspirational “Prophet’s Biography Study Competition” in Srinagar, Draws Enthusiastic Participation from Valley Students

Srinagar, 29/10/202-  Islamic Fraternity Kashmir proudly organized a distinguished academic event, the “Prophet’s Biography Study Competition,” which saw widespread participation from students hailing from across the picturesque valley of Kashmir. Approximately a month ago, Islamic Fraternity, known as IF, unveiled their exciting plans via print and social media channels, announcing the upcoming biographical contest. This remarkable competition is centered around the profound work authored by the renowned Maulana Abdul Khaliq Khalil. To entice the young minds, the first-place winner will receive a generous cash prize of 10,000 rupees, with the second-place contender securing a 5,000 rupee cash prize, and the third-place recipient taking home 3,000 rupees in cash. The remaining top seven participants will receive valuable books and certificates, while all entrants will be awarded certificates of participation, reads a press release issued to Asia Speaks.

It further says, the response was truly heartening, with over 250 school children from diverse corners of the valley eagerly registering for this enlightening competition. A spokesperson for Islamic Fraternity Kashmir expressed the core objective of this initiative, emphasizing their unwavering commitment to acquainting the younger generation with the life and teachings of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). This endeavor seeks to bring them closer to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), which is the organization’s primary mission. The spokesperson further underscored the critical need for the youth to immerse themselves in the study and comprehension of the Prophet’s biography, emphasizing that living in accordance with these teachings holds the key to success, both in this world and the hereafter. The spokesperson passionately urged parents and educators to inspire their children to explore and cherish the “Sirat e Tayyaba” with great reverence and devotion. Notably, the competition was designed for students from the 5th to the 10th grade, but Islamic Fraternity Kashmir is already gearing up for another competition in the near future, catering to students ranging from the 11th grade to the Ph.D. level.
