Srinagar, Oct 04 : The family members of a youth from Kema village of Aloosa in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district staged a protest on Wednesday in Srinagar, demanding action against the person involved in the alleged murder of their beloved.
Scores of family members gathered at Srinagar’s press enclave today and raised slogans in favour of their demands and demanded a probe into the alleged killing of their beloved on September 22, 2023.
While speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the family of 19-year-old Tasaduk Dar, who was allegedly murdered in Bandipora, said, “Our son worked as a carpenter in a factory in Bandipora for the last two years, and he was killed by the factory owner,” alleged his father.
“My son went to the factory owner and asked him for money, but he didn’t give it to him, instead, he beat him and then dropped him in front of our gate and left,” alleged the father of Tasaduk, while adding they shifted him to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at the main entrance of the hospital.
Soon after this incident, the police arrested the culprits, but no further investigation has been initiated till date, he said, demanding the administration to look into the matter and ensure justice is delivered—(KNO)
