Long power cuts in Srinagar areas annoys people: DPAP Provincial Vice President

Srinagar,Apr 30 : Democratic Progressive Azad Party Provincial Vice President Kashmir Mohammad Altaf Dar in a statement issued to press here expressing concern over the worst power crises in Kashmir,un scheduled power cuts, shutdowns in several parts of Kashmir province have started affecting residents,traders, hoteliers & other business units badly.Such a crisis has never been witnessed in the last three decades. DPAP Provincial Vice President Mohammad Altaf Dar said that prolonged outages have crippled normal life as a severe power shutdowns crisis has gripped the Kashmir division. Annoyed over the frequent power shutdowns outages in Srinagar city also. Mohammad Altaf Dar criticize the administration for the unprecedented situation & also as far as electricity supply is concerned is quite unfortunate because even the areas having the latest smart meters are not being spared from unscheduled power shutdowns/cuts leaving aside the situation of consumers having old meters. Altaf Dar said despite the installation of smart meters people of valley are not getting a regular power supply. Democratic Progressive Azad Party Provincial Vice President Kashmir Mohammad Altaf Dar Urged Lt.Governor Manoj Sinha to take all possible steps for providing 24×7 power to bail out common house holds & business industry from the crisis.
