Srinagar: Ayurved Parv means ‘festival of Ayurveda’ is a unique initiative under Ministry of Ayush , Bharat Sarkar, of India to promote, propagate and develop Ayurveda in the mainstream public health care and generate demand of Ayurveda among masses and classes.
The main objective of this Ayurveda Parva is to promote strengths of Ayurveda Panchkarma, Ksharsutra and other treatment modalities to manage and prevent life style disorders.
70 th Ayurveda Parv is being observed at Govt. Dental College Shireen Bagh Srinagar from 15th to 17th September 2023.
The Ayurved Parv is going to be inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor UT of Jammu and Kashmir, Sh. Manoj Sinha.
Padamshree and Padam Vibhushan, Vaidya Shiromani Vd. Devendra Triguna shall preside over the program.
Padamshree Sh. Rajesha Kotecha, Secretary Ayush, Govt. of India, as Guest of Honor in the program along with other luminaries of Ayurveda and Ministry of Ayush including Vd. Manoj Nesari, Vd. Jayant Deopujari and Vd. Rakesh Sharma are also attending the program.
Worthy Advisor to Hon’ble LG Sh. Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, IPS (Retd.) along withWorthy secretary to Govt. Health and Medical Education, Jammu and Kashmir Sh. Bhupinder Kumar, IAS, are the special guests in the program.
Directorate of Ayush J&K under the aegis of Health and Medical Education Department is converging with All India Ayurvedic Congress to organize the event in Srinagar.
In all more than 40 pharmaceutical companies from Ayurveda and Unani are participating to show case their wellness products in the Ayush Expo being organized.
More than 600 delegates from Jammu, Kashmir and other parts of the country are going to participate in the program.
Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India is also going to display a pavilion to highlight their research works and researched products.
Other highlights of the program include:
a. Scientific Sessions by Experts daily.
b. Free OPDs and Health Check-up for general public.
c. Business Meet for Industry representatives
d. Display of Medicinal Plants by National Medicinal Plant Board.
Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India organizes such events at regular intervals in and around different cities all over India. All India Ayurvedic Congress (Akhil Bhartiya Ayurved Mahasammelan) is the nodal agency for organizing such program and doing a great work in promotion and propogation of Ayurveda.
