SRINAGAR, AUGUST 01: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, Cultural Unit Srinagar of the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), in collaboration with Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Chanapora, held a stirring short play-based awareness programme focused on the menace of drug abuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The powerful performance by a local theatre group vividly portrayed the real-life consequences of substance addiction and left a deep emotional impact on students and staff alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students appreciated the meaningful content and conveyed their interest in witnessing more such thought-provoking events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sameena Wani, Principal of the institution, applauded the initiative and emphasized the importance of early intervention and awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burhan Hussain, Cultural Officer, DIPR, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the role of art in social reform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme ended with a unified pledge against drug abuse, with a collective resolve to promote a healthy and addiction-free society.<\/p>\n
