Srinagar, Mar 20 :\u00a0<\/strong>In a bizarre twist, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Wednesday distributed Physical Education question papers of 11th standard to 12th standard candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hundreds of 12th standard candidates were left to lurch who had sleepless nights to prepare for the annual regular exams of physical education paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news agency\u2014(KNO) spoke to some of exam in-charges and candidates appearing in the annual regular exams of 12th standard who expressed concern about the lackadaisical approach of board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the students said that the examination pattern of the physical education was entirely different as was shown and notified by the board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIronically, only two marks were taken from the 12th standard syllabus. Rest the question paper of 12th standard was set from 11th standard syllabus,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the exam in-charge said that students in the center were crying \u2018even a couple of students fainted\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials of JKBOSE said, \u201cWe have postponed the exams and will issue the notification in while.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe got the information of the issue and we have decided to reschedule the exams. New dates will be issued soon,\u201d the official said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile school education department has constituted a committee to enquire about the distribution of wrong question paper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administrative Secretary, School Education Department Piyush Singla accordingly accorded the constitution of committee, comprising of Directors of School Education of both Jammu and Kashmir regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singla said that the shall enquire into the incident of wrong distribution of 11th class question paper to 12th class students appeared in the Board examination on March-20-2024 by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also said that the committee shall look into circumstances of the cancellation of the examination and the responsibility shall be fixed on supervisory and administrative level for the negligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe committee shall co-opt any Chief Education Officer and other officer and submit its findings report to the administrative within seven days,\u201d it reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
