Srinagar, Oct 24 :<\/strong>\u00a0Accusing West of double standards, former Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday said that Israel\u2019s aggression over Gaza is being readily accepted by those who term Russia\u2019s action in Ukraine as a war crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Omar Abdullah said Israel is being free hand to kill innocent people of Gaza and he fails to understand why the world is silent and supporting the aggression of Israel. \u201cThe world has probably proved that there is one law for Israel and another for Russia. European Union president castigated Russia and accused her of a war crime when it blocked aid for the people of Ukraine but when Israel is doing the same thing, everybody is tight-lipped and supporting the inhuman acts of Israel,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Omar Abdullah said that it is high time for the international community to augment humanitarian aid to war-torn Gaza and look at the situation through the prism of humanity. He said the international community should think and accept what is morally correct and what needs to be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Omar Abdullah said that the people of Gaza are suffering and innocent people particularly children are being killed. He said there is a complete disparity in international response in Israel Hamas conflict. Those who accused Russia of war crimes are standing with Israel. [KNT]<\/p>\n
