Teaching Departments at Main and Off-site Campuses to Remain Closed Till August 2; Offices to Function Normally, Exams and Academic Activities to Continue as Scheduled
Srinagar, July 10 : The University of Kashmir on Friday announced a 10-day summer vacation for all teaching departments at its main and off-site campuses from July 24 to August 2, 2026.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, the teaching departments of the main campus as well as off-site campuses shall observe summer vacations with effect from July 24, 2026, to August 2, 2026.
The notice, however, clarified that the offices of all departments and campuses will continue to function as usual during the vacation period.
It further directed all Heads, Directors and Coordinators of the Departments, Off-site Campuses and Centres to ensure that routine office work is not affected and that examinations, wherever scheduled, along with other academic activities, are conducted as per the notified sch
