Srinagar 29 May: Continuing her outreach and development review across her constituency, MLA Habba Kadal, Advocate Shamim Firdous, visited multiple localities to assess ongoing works and address public grievances related to basic infrastructure.

In Kak Sarai, residents raised concerns regarding unresolved land disputes and drainage issues that continue to affect daily life. She assured the locals that she would coordinate with the Revenue Department and UEED to resolve the problems at the earliest.

At Darish Kadal, the MLA inspected the construction of a new motorable bridge, which is currently underway. She also reviewed the site of a proposed footbridge and emphasized the need for speedy completion to ease pedestrian movement and improve connectivity in the area.

Firdous further visited Baghiyas, Chattabal, where work is progressing on the construction of a community marriage hall. She directed concerned engineers to expedite the work and ensure it meets the requirements of the local population.

All these works are being carried out with the involvement of key departments, including Roads and Buildings (R&B), Public Health Engineering (PHE), Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), and Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED). The MLA urged all departments to maintain transparency, efficiency, and public communication throughout the execution of these projects.
