Srinagar, Nov 5 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said houses of those who will provide shelter to terrorists will be ‘razed to the ground’.

The Lieutenant Governor warned the perpetrators and those aiding and sheltering terrorists.

“We will not spare terrorists and those aiding and abetting them in targeting our people. We will bring them to justice”, the Lt Governor said while addressing an event in north Kashmir Baramulla district on Tuesday .

He said “People must stand up against the perpetrators of terror. Security forces, administration and people should work together to wipe-out terrorism”.

The Lt Governor called upon the people to identify and isolate anti-national elements and those disrupting the peace. He said while addressing an event in north Kashmir Baramulla district on Tuesday .

“I have been saying for the past four years don’t harm an innocent and don’t spare a culprit”, the Lt Governor said and “stated that elements snatching lives of innocent people won’t go unpunished”.

“If anybody provides shelter to the terrorist his house will be razed to the ground”, the Lt Governor warned and added “there will be no compromise on it from the part of the government in restoring the peace”. This policy is being implemented and is serving justice, he added.

Without naming anyone, Lt Governor Sinha said that “Some people make statements that injustice is being done while acting tough against terrorists and their sympathizers. I believe this is the demand of justice, it is happening and it will continue in future,” Lieutenant Governor said.
