Awantipora, March 16: The National Service Scheme (NSS), Islamic University of Science
& Technology, organized a Voter Awareness Programme at the campus. The program
themed Mera Pehla Vote – Desh Ke Liye, was conducted as per the guidelines from Ministry
of Education, Government of India.
Coordinated by the NSS IUST unit, the program aimed to educate students about democratic
participation. Program Coordinator NSS IUST, Dr. Tariq Ahmad Ganaie, emphasized the
significance of voting as both a right and a duty, empowering citizens to shape the nations
future. The event saw participation from Student Volunteers and staff members who engaged
in discussions and activities to promote voter awareness and education.
