Srinagar,Apr 17: Prominent Socio Activist And Trade Union Leader Mohammad Altaf Dar(Rajbagh) has felicitated people on Shab-e-Qadr and prayed on the auspicious occasion that all live in prosperity and peace.
In his message, Dar underlined significance of Shab-e-Qadr, and Jumatuwida that Almighty Allah has chosen the holy night for the revelation of the holy Qu’ran to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for the guidance of whole mankind and the holy night also provides an opportunity to seek His blessings and forgiveness. Mohammad Altaf Dar (Rajbagh) has appealed people to seek mercy and blessings of Almighty Allah during the night-long prayers and make special prayers for well being of mankind and it’s peaceful coexistence. Altaf Dar has urged the LG Shri Manoj Sinha,LG Administration, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Commissioner SMC,Chief Engineer R&B,Chief Engineer PHE (Jal Shakti),IG Traffic & IG Police to make adequate arrangements for the celebration of shabe qadr with religious fervour & make fool proof arrangements for the convenience of the devotees and arrange adequate transport facilities round the clock supply of power and water for the people .He has also urged for special sanitation and cleanliness drives in and around all the major mosques ,shrines and religious places in various areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
